Who spends more time outside, a child… or a maximum-security prisoner?
The inmates at maximum security prisons in the U.S. are guaranteed at least 2 hours of outdoor time a day. More than a half of the children worldwide spend less than an hour outside. More and more kids stay inside playing video games all day long without socializing with other kids at all.
The prisoners in this video say that this is so sad and bad as they are describing this as torture for someone not to be allowed to have his time outside and socialise. They assume that as real torture, something that leads to depression and is potentially disastrous.
This generation is about to become unsociable, unimaginative and inactive and it’s our fault. This lack of outdoor time is producing children who are physically and mentally ill. The time spent outdoor leads to a healthy human being with no or extremely less problems with the body vital functions and diseases such as heart disease, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, and some forms of cancer. It lowers the amount of stress, obesity and anxiety and gives the kids thee good mood.
